“I came to Sam for personal training at the point in my life when I had completely lost motivation to take regular exercise. I had put on a lot of weight in the two years prior and was thoroughly fed up of being unfit and weak. I had stopped going to the gym as I was too embarrassed to exercise in public. I can’t actually believe I look forward to our training sessions but look forward I do. She has also helped me with making good food choices and really knows her stuff! “18 months ago, approaching 60 and with poor diet and fitness I was shocked to find myself at 17St, breathless after limited exercise and continuously pulling muscles when attempting to do the couch to 5K.
Now just beyond 60 and with Sam’s training, advice and support I have lost over 4 ½ St, over 6” of my waist and I am so much fitter, stronger healthier and happier. I am also now running 5Km two times a week in under 30 min.
I see Sam twice a week for one-to-one personal training (via Zoom sessions during lockdown) and hope to carry-on well into the future.
